Hello, I've just had an offer accepted on a house!
I have a 10% deposit maybe 15% and i'm trying to find a good deal
We got our agreement ok'd last month when a 90% mortgage was 6.09 now it is 6.29
the weird thing is if we go for the 15% deal we have to pay £2300 arrangement fee which is ridiculous
Is there any better rates around for me or places I should look?

They didn't mention that one, Is this rate still available as they seem to change so quickly at the moment.
we've been looking at their 90% Mortgage and think we might be going for that as not sure if we can stretch to 85% or not just yet
We saw a post office one which looked good but will a broker offer these from PO?0 -
D666G, I just posted this in another threadMapson wrote:Look at 90% fixed rates by using the FSA website - http://www.fsa.gov.uk/tables/ then click on compare mortgages. At the time of this post they list the following offering 90% LTV mortgages
Teachers Building Society
Post Office Ltd
Clydesdale Bank
Yorkshire Bank
Cheltenham & Gloucester
NatWest
Royal Bank of Scotland
First Active
HSBC
Abbey
Halifax
Rates range from 5.69% (Teacher's Building Society) to 7.49% (Halifax)0 -

post office one seems to be the best, Can this be taken out through a Broker or just through PO?
Speaking to a broker tomorrow so we'll see0 -

My boyfriend and I have just applied for a PO mortgage and it was by far the best for 10% or 15%. See this post:
