  • Try the wightlink site. We go regularly to visit family and will only go with a special offer. At Christmas we had the choice of paying £55 special offer or paying £90. Guess which we chose!

We're going for the day tomorrow and booked online for £25 car and driver and £4 for additional adult. They've also got a 5 day deal for £48 for car, driver + 3. You can pay online then pick up ticket at port.

Tesco clubcard deals can be used if you book in advance. We've just booked 3 caravan trips to the Island for about £65 worth of tesco vouchers.
  • Thanx very much. just going to book online now.

if u find any where , please let me know . i live on the isle of wight and it is so expensive to get off. we do get an islanders discount but it not very much. hope u enjoy your stay on island.
ps , if your looking for somewhere really nice to eat there a place in arreton called dairymans daugther. it is gorgeous food.
  • We went to IOW with Sun £9.50 holidays last year and they had a connected deal. From memory it was about £30 for car and passengers.
  • Has anyone been and done 2 day returns rather than an extended stay ticket? Obviously you only use 1 leg of each of the day return tickets! Just wondered if they had some clever way of checking that you do return - e.g. based on your car registration number or something... it will work out cheaper with some of the deals that are on at the moment!

We went over on Red Funnel from Southampton recently for a car and 4 for £34 day trip. You might try their website https://www.redfunnel.co.uk perhaps?

Red Funnel are generally much cheaper than Wightlink.
