    Argh!

Well, it does sort of imply tubing for pumps, but god knows what kind! And I assume we're not talking sneakers, here. :)
Actually, I looked at their site a bit, and saw one picture I think I recognised as a dialysis machine, with the tubing in question sticking out of it.

Taken from their web site :-

    Watson-Marlow Bredel

"Watson-Marlow Bredel has, through selective acquisition, innovative product development, and geographical expansion, grown rapidly to lead the world market for peristaltic pumps. This is an expanding segment of the positive displacement pump market, and the peristaltic principle enables sensitive, abrasive or corrosive fluids to be pumped safely, accurately and without contamination anywhere from biotechnology to ceramics and food processing to waste treatment."

Looks like these are industrial pumps, so don't get too excited folks. ;D  ;D
    Wins since 2009 = £17,600

    MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS
  • Thank you!! :D
    xxWendie :p
  • Peristatic pumps are used in the medical profession for pumping fluids such as blood. I seem to recall that they work by a rotating cam squeezing along a tube similar to squeezing a icing bag. This way it doesn't damage the constituent parts of the blood. Good grief how did I manage to regurgitate that up?
