Sunday Double Time Pay

Hello,
The company I work for are going to be offering a lump sum payment for our current contracts which stipulate double pay on a Sunday; after which there will be new contracts with no more double pay.:(
Its all still unofficial, but as I understand, it will be based on how many Sunday hours worked in the previous year.
As this makes up a fair part of my monthly salary, I would appreciate any advice on how to negotiate the best deal.
Thanks!
