Oh dear - if I were him I wouldn't go for any solitary walks in the woods anytime soon.

The HBOS whistleblower whose revelations led to the resignation of one of the Government's top regulators is about to release a tranche of documents which he says point a direct and accusatory finger at Gordon Brown's responsibility for the banking crisis, and has called on the Prime Minister to resign. In a further blow to Labour, an Independent on Sunday poll showed voter support for the party evaporating, leaving it only a few points ahead of the Lib Dems.

Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.

I can see a judicial enquiry being needed - some Lord/Judge friend of the Govt will be paid 3k per day (yes that is realistic) to listen to 6 months of testimony from self interested people who will explain how it is a global problem and nothing to do with anything they did and then conclude that it wasn't the Govts fault.
This seems to do the trick no matter what the issue is.
Of course the main recomendation will be that there should be a National ID register holding all personal info including DNA records, medical records, that telling off for putting your feet on the seat on the train aged 8 and of course all bank details, phone and email records etc. After all if you haven't done anything wrong what do you have to worry about? :eek:I think....0 -
He needs to be careful what he says against the regime, we might have another David Kelly scenario. They've already murdered one whistle blower (and i'm sure countless others), so I'm sure they wouldn't hesitate to do it again.0

I bet this thread gets mysteriously chopped.0

If Moore comes up with the goods and the RBS leaks are as bad as they seem, Brown could be finished, and not a day too soon.0
