Whats the best solution

I have nearly £40,000 in loans, overdraft and credit cards. A company want to put a debt managment plan or IVA in place. I really am scared what this will mean for the future. Any advice???

  • Hi Linney

When you say a company who do you mean??? Please never take advice from a company that you pay for debt advice, instead use one of these organisations:

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help

Who will do it all with or for you for free and are also generally looked upon more favourably by creditors.

We can give advice on your individual situation but need a lot more info first. Could you complete a statement of affairs (there is a caclulator at www.makesenseofcards.com) which will help us to see where your money is going and also see if we can help you make better use of the cash that is available to you.
