we just had one for tea and it was lovely!! We got the steak pie, mash and chocolate puddings. Had dinner but too full for the pud!!!!

was the offer just till Valentines Day cos that link only shows 2 mains for the price of one. Not the £5 deal.

Grr in my local sainsbury's yesterday i saw some of the meals had meal for 2 on it but no signs up what it meant, i asked 2 members of staff and was told that it was just saying that its big enough for 2 people. couldnt be bothered to argue any more and walked off. i knew i was right! tried to explain it was a bit random and other shops like m&s and tesco were doing meals for 2 for a set amount i.e. £10. I love it when offers arent explained properly to staff.

It states that it's valid until the 3rd March!! Not bad. Checked the link and it still goes to the £5 meal deal.

Had the steak pie which should cost £4.19, the jersey mash and have two melt in the middle puds in the fridge for through the week all for a fiver - think i saved £3.odds. Pie and mash was yummy :beer:

Your post made me ponder over my bowl of Special K (est value: 26p) - M&S upped their "Two dine for..." promotion to £20 this weekend. If that isn't a rip off I don't know what is.
