Iceland- is it ok?

Hi guys,

Just bought a new chest freezer and looking to fill it basically.

Have been in Iceland for the odd party thing and pizza, but never meat.

Has anybody tried it and liked or not ?

Let me know,

Thanks

I really like Iceland's meat. Never had a problem with it. I also used to work for them about 4 years ago and the whole time I was there, which was about 2 years, I only ever saw 3 problems with meat.

I have to say we dont like the frozen mince smells a bit funny and tastes odd. Having said that i do use iceland a lot and have never had a problem with fresh meat or any of their other frozen/fresh things

Their fresh meatballs are really nice. They are very "meaty" and don;t have any fillers in them. The frozen scallops with butter are great value and really sweet. Hmm hungry now

I like Iceland, they're good value for money. OH doesn't mind the meat from there, I'm a veggie so wouldn't know what it's like.

i like iceland i find it very good value. however i recently bought some lamb mince from there after someone said it was nice, but omg it was awful . mega fatty and it was very gritty in texture. was really disappionted. having said that , i think that is the first product i've bought from there in over 8 years that i wouldn't buy again. so not bad really.
