Well worth trying B&Q, especially super stores.

We got two from Freecycle, not especially pretty to look at, but very MSE ;)
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

    Thanks Jess and Raksha,
I thought B&Q would have had them but no luck!
    Nothing at freecycle, yet.

Check the small print on your home insurance, lease/tennancy agreement etc - A lot of landlords forbid them & insurers etc do tend to get a bit edgy due to past accidents. At very least, you may need to maintain a current inspection/service certificate, which is not particularly cheap.

Also, I hope you have good ventilation, they can be hellish for damp.

Never, never consider a used one, or at least not without getting it fully serviced/checked over at an approved agent.

A faulty heater can be lethal! :(

    Get a Dehumidifier as well.

    You will definitely need it.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
