Well done on facing up to things.
Hate to be blunt but your mortgage & secured borrowing alone is more than half of your income.Even if you leave out all the unsecured borrowing you are really only breaking even.
You really do need try to increase your income.
I wish you all the best.

if you are wanting to sell books, or even cd's and dvd's, i would recommend using amazon, major difference being, if what you list does not sell, than you are not charged anything. i used to be a ebay deveotee, but not anymore in the case of selling books cd etc.

also, i dont know if you are on your own with your child, but could you get the council tax reduced for single persons???

also perhaps a lodger?? i know its not nice to share your home, but even of its only for a few months, it could be a boost to your income. also check out the boost your income board on here too.

    all the best :D

I am afraid to say, in tough times the teenager has to do packed lunches.
My son was just like that, refusing packed lunches as all his friends went out for lunch to the local bakery and sweet shop. His lunches were costing me £3 a day or £15 a week. In the end I would do him sandwichs, give him a bottle of diluted juice from home and give him a pound for snacks. So he could still eat out with his friends, buy something when they did and not feel so isolated. At first he moaned when I suggested it, but when I said it was that or a full packed lunch he soon came around.

Is Virgin a new card? If so i would give them a call to see what is going on.

It would be better to get a breakdown of what these "other" debts are.
Write to them and request a statement if you are not receiving anything from them.

Have you tried claiming back bank charges, credit card charges or checking that your house is in the correct council tax band?
