Letter from Capital One

Last week I wrote to all my creditors asking them to suspend charges and interest for 28 days whilst I seek financial help with my current situation. Most have ignored my letter (I sent them recorded so now they were delivered) apart from M&S and Citi who have said they can't do anything until they receive details of my debt management plan which I guess is fair enough.
However, today I got a letter from Capital One and they have said they can't action anything until they receive a SIGNED letter from me. I didn't sign it as I was wary of them copying my signature to an agreement and based on advice from this board.
Can anyone advise? Should I send them a signed letter?
The other companies that replied were happy to accept a non signed letter.

They sent me that letter, I just ignored it. They didn't need my signature when I applied online for the card, so they don't need it now. Just let them know details of your DMP when you've got it and make token payments until then.
I've found them to be fine in the long run, they accepted my reduced payment once the DMP was set up and have stopped interest.LBM : March 2008
