I couldn't find the link, here's the recipe though,

Lentil Pate know is how you make the breadcrumbs? Do you put them in the food processor and give 'em a whizz?

Its best if they are not fresh bread - at least 1 day old or older is better - just break up into smaller chunks and wizz in food processor or liquidiser for a few minutes. If you don't have one just rub between hands but this doesn't give as finer consistancy.
    Recipe sounds interesting. Thanks!

You can also use a cheese grater, but be careful not to grate your fingers!

    It's only a game

Can I just say that eating stodge or carp on night shift is thoroughly not recommended. Your DH is better off with some soup and a fruit salad than a microwave meal. Shift work has a terrible effect on your digestion and those in the know say this; Don't eat between 7pm & 5am. Just have breakfast at the end of a shift and fruit at night if you have to eat somthing. Then when you get up eat lunch and dinner as normal.

I think they say not to eat at those times because it's just before you go to bed. OP' DH is not going to bed at that time so I think it doesn't count?

Yes, you couldn't do a whole shift at work without eating anything, you'd be ill.
A nice little lunch in a tub I do is
    chop up half an onion,
    a few mushrooms
    half a red pepper,
stir fry for a few minutes then add half a can of (chopped) tomatoes and a pinch of Italian seasoning.
Pour over some cooked pasta and put in a pot.
This is nice hot or cold and very cheap.
