Hi
I am a newbie to this site and just trying to get to grips with the whole forum thing so please bear with me!!
I have finally taken my head out the sand am trying to deal with my debt problems. I owe £27K. I called a number I got from this site saying they could write of 75-80% of my debt. It was a company called Money Expert. Has anyone had any dealings with these guys? I wondering if anyone had gone down this route and would they recommend it?
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I would be grateful for any advice

I personally dont know the company but i suppose it would come down to weather they charge for their services if they do then i recommend you go see the cab orone of the many free companys that are mentioned on here for advise first. :-)
Good luck by the way i hope everything gets sorted for you :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Dolly, we do not recommend any companies other than the debt charities and Payplan.
Nor do we recommend IVAs, which is what you are referring to. CCCS reckon they are appropriate for 3% of their clients, and that was before the credit crunch. A very high percentage were mis-sold and there are lots of folk on the bankruptcy board who have failed IVAs.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Hi
They said they would be taking a fee of £30 a month. I will definately get in touch with one of the free sites. Thank you for getting back to me! :-)0 -
