debt management programme

ive been on before requesting advice from everyone which i must say is refreshing.
I have been considering the big B but as im a fighter Im looking for solutions rather than take that route. I have taken advice and Im being told as im selfemployed a IVA is not the right thing for me. They have advised a debt management programme as by doing so I will keep my house. is it correct that i would have to stand down as a director and does anyone have any advice or experienced this type of solution.

Without seeing an SOA it's really impossible to give any advice as to whether it's a sensible solution for you...
however, a DMP doesn't prevent you being a director of a company as such.
