Can Lloyds claim money from an HBOS account?

Hi

I wanted some advice.

Can Lloyds (owners of HBOS) try to claim money from a Lloyds account to pay off a debt from a Halifax or Bank of Scoland account (now both with Blair Oliver?)

I am concerned about this and have been for some time, reading one or two of the posts, as my wages are paid into Lloyds but I pay off the debts through direct debits to Blair Oliver?

Advice please, or anyone with experience of how the banks 'cross network'?

I think you are safe at the moment as they have different legal status and licences. If you read the section on"are my savings safe" in the saving section it explains the relationships between banks and which share licences.
