While job hunting, what else?

Hi All,
I'm just wondering what other people are doing during their quest for work?
i.e. how do you unwind, relax? Do you give yourself any 'leisure' time at all, and if so, how much? How do you structure you Mon-Fri day?
I'm currently seeking employment as well, and whilst I appreciate it is is a stressful time, I'm also interested to learn how others are trying to cope.
Many thanks - and good luck. :A

I've been unemployed in the past - and personally I did voluntary work then. It helped my sense of self-esteem - as I was valued for what I did - and I had the chance to meet people without having to spend money specifically on a "social life". The downside to that was that when a job came along that I had to swop from interesting/useful/reasonable-level work to boring/lower-level work - and that wasnt easy to cope with. So - swings and roundabouts on how you handle that if thats your choice.
If I were in the same position again then personally I would work out a structure for my day. Something along the lines of devoting 2-3 hours a day to jobhunting (I would favour doing this in the morning and, as far as possible, seeing if I could have job interviews in the morning as well if I had any say about it). You've then done what you can to get another job and got it out of the way first thing - and can then get on with your life for the rest of the day.
I think maybe my sample daily timetable might be, for instance:
07.00 - get up/daily exercise/breakfast/bath or shower
09.00 - a bit of the weekly housework (say focusing on one room per day)
10.00 - cup of coffee in hand and get browsing/applying for jobs until 12 noon or 1pm
Afternoon - any shopping that needs doing/go for a walk/visit with friends and relatives/voluntary work/study
Evening - social/read a good book/voluntary work
(Interviews to be slotted into that timetable when they come up).
I'd make that my timetable Monday-Saturday and take Sunday as a "sabbath" (ie day of rest - with no jobhunting/housework or shopping). I'd see the positive sides to this - at least I could HAVE a "sabbath" - which I find it impossible to do whilst in a full-time job and also fit in regular exercise (ditto - it just doesnt happen because of that job).
Thats just my suggestions. It depends on your interests/temperament/etc0 -
I do as many online surveys and slice the pie as possible so I dont feel quite as useless, it fills time and I'm earning a bit of money for it. I also spend alot of time playing video games as I can switch off from my worries when imersed in a gameSome people feel the rain...others just get wet0
