Where is that thread??!!

I have searched high and low and can not find the thread that wasonly posted the other.

It was about removing accounts from credit file that were not or have not been used

Any one have an idea where it is or know if entries can be removed if the account has been opened then closed immediatley.?

you could look through the members list above & search through the posts on wasonly's name to see if its still there.

In answer to your question with the Credit File, you need to apply for a notice of correction with them, stating what you want done..."Please can you investigate so and so entry as I have no recognision of this etc"

They will then contact the company in question etc and apply the notice of correction to your file until is is resolved.

I know what the entry is it is just that the account was opened and approved but never used and closed within days once i realised that i did not need it...

So not really disputing the entry as such..

Was wondering if it could be removed from C file seen as it was never used and closed within a matter of days? ..
