In all honesty, all you have to do is persuade someone to take a chance on you. I'd apply for companies that are known to be favourable towards teleworking, as this might give you an alternative if you aren't able to make it into an office.
Are you actually in Manchester or one of the suburbs?

Thanks. I'm just outside Manchester but I would go into Manchester for a job if I couldn't find one closer to home.
I wouldn't want to work from home, i'm not disciplined enough unfortunately.
