Incorrect VAT amount invoiced

You can, and it's by far the easiest + quickest solution! It's the supplier's problem, leave him to work out how he sorts it in his books (if he is bothered!)
Certainly is the easiest and best. This is exactly what I would do.
It makes me laugh though that the supplier will not reissue the invoice.0 -
Thank you all for your replies.
I shall amend the invoice and send the correct amount.

ring them up, get a credit note for the first one, get them to re issue a correct invoice.

Depends whether the 50p is worth the effort to you really.
You could write to them, second class post, just before the due date informing that the invoice value to incorrect and they should issue a credit and re-invoice with the correct VAT amount. Then when you do pay you will have had the money in you account for an extra month.
For 50p I don't think I'd bother for the hassle involved.0 -

I work for a massive PLC and this happens all the while. (dont have much to do with that dept so not 100% on the process!) If its not incorrect VAT then they're incorrectly addressed!
Yes of course, option 3 in my earlier post
