Ok, here we go bit of background, my OH left his wife as she was having an affair 10 years ago, he has been with me for 9 and married for 6.
He has always paid his maintenance dues, she did try to stitch us up once by saying we hadn't to the tune of £20,000 but due to an amazing CSA person called Vicky at Bolton and the production of 7 years bank statements, it was realised she was excreting through her mouth!
Anyway we are directors of our own company, and following on from the £20,000 escapde the PWC did a "review", and even though we could have got away with £5 per week, we didn't do that we showed our P and L and dividend payments etc. As a result my OH got a 3 figure payment per month. As the company was ticking along nicely, we doubled this payment as a gesture of "goodwill". so we submitted our weekly payment into her account and then at the end of the month a nice chunky sum as well.
However as with many small businessses, over the last 5 months we have really struggled, and the CSA payments have actually been more than what we have been able to draw in salary, so we have been unable to pay the chunky sum at the end of the month.
Needless to say the PWC went nuts!... so we have gone into debt to pay her this gesture of goodwill money.
I have been on the website and based on our current salary and the company running at a loss, we would only be legible to pay £5 per week. But she has threatened that as we have paid extra it would prove we could anyway, so she thinks she would be awarded this money.
So advice please what do we do?
By the way the payment is for one 12 year old.

You are only liable to pay what the CSA assess you at and no more. I assume she knows that the extra was just that - extra?Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked

Call her bluff simple as that! as nice as it was for you to pay extra personally i wouldn't have gone down that path at all. If the business picks up in the future and you feel you can afford the extra money stick it in a bank account and the kiddie can get it when they are older.Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.
