Just for info, loads of copies in the Market St branch of Tesco in Manchester. £8, and they also have the activity tin. No Blu-ray that I could see.

I've just posted about the tin on the other Tesco thread. OH has just come back saying the tins had stickers saying 'free' if you bought the DVD but he was charged £2.

  • In my Tesco (Swindon) it said HSM3 was £8 IF you bought the activity tin for £4... but I did a scan on those things and it scanned at £8 so I just bought the DVD... didn't see any badges at all...

I need some help here - this is going to sound ridiculous! I bought my HSM3 from Asda and can't seem to open the DVD case after unwrapping the shrink wrap. There is like a little red clip blocking me from opening the case and I don't want to break the case to get the DVD in case I break the DVD. Can anyone help?? What is it?

I'm not a stupid person and I've tried everything as has my husband and he's an engineer (although the less said about engineers the better LOL).

I know this is on the wrong board but thought some fellow HSM3 purchasers might have cracked it?

Hi I work for Tesco's , the red clip is an instore security clip that should have been taken off at the time of purchase. The only thing I can advise is to take it back to the store with your receipt and they will remove it. I am surprised it didn't set the alarm off when you exited the store. Probably a faulty clip, before I started working for them we had one left on a dvd too. Hubby had to break the whole dvd case to get rid of it, thankfully we had a spare case.

Thanks OddjobKIA! I don't understand why its there and how it could've been taken off cause I had to take off the shrink wrap and unravel the outer packaging and the free badges from it.

No HSM3 for me tonight then :(

Luckily only saw it last week on the plane so the story still fresh in my mind! :D

I had this on the one I got from asda today. I ended using a knife to prise it open very carefully. I then struggled to get the actual dvd out, but eventually managed. Dont know how you are supposed to do it properly, or do you think they were meant to be removed when we bought them?? I paid at a self serve till.

EDIT : Opps, beaten to it!!
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

I had the same thing, and had to promise my little girl it would be open by the time she woke up.

    This is what it is...

and here is a guide to open it...

however I didn't have any magnets so managed to do it with a couple of very small screwdrivers with no real damage to the box.
