Burnt tea

Hi
Yesterday afternoon I left for work in a hurry and on the way i saw a fire engine which got me thinking did i turn the tea off.:mad:
Anyway to cut the story short 1 1/2 hours later a neighbour went in to check for me and tea was ruined.:eek:
the problem I have now is my house stinks and i am having visitors tomorrow how can i sort my house out:cool:

I would::think:
Open the windows.
Febeeze the soft furnishings.
Do you have any joss sticks? I find they're brilliant in getting rid of smells, light one upstairs and one downstairs the smell should drift round the house nicely.
Alternatively bake some cakes or bread

i think kids and OH have banned me from cooking
i have had the windows open so i have some candles i will try

I think bicarb is meant to be good at soaking up odours, maybe scatter it around any smelly areas?0
