  • I saw these today and they looked £2 worth aswell, i wouldnt advise getting these as a valentines gift unless its all you can afford
  • eeeh they were £8 the other day.

normally cheap roses dont last that long but i got some from tescos the other week and they lasted for ages.

  • My wife suffers very badly from hay fever so I explained these were bought specifically with her ailment in mind :p . These are so small (she actually put her reading glasses on to look at them :o ) I can't see there's room for any pollen..

OK, I got her the Thorntons chocolates and the Baileys gift set as well but didn't want to ruin my chauvinistic image...

well as they come with the flower food I think they will last just as long as any bought from a florist!

after all Valentines day is just that .. a day! :D

for the ones who think its all too commercialised I think £2 to keep someone happy is not a bad price...

ahh well you cant please all of the people all of the time!
  • I'd be over the moon if my OH came home with these....red roses and saving money - perfect!! The truth of the matter being I won't be getting any! I even bought myself some perfume the other day (£56 reduced to £20!) and gave it to him to give to me tomorrow. I do live such a sad life!! :rotfl:
Fell off wagon but now had another LBM. Debt 04/01/11 £9461

    CC1 - £6413, CC2 - £2800, Next - £248.98
  • £2 of red roses wouldn't be keeping me happy, it'd be making me really peeved!!:p but there again won't be getting any :rotfl:
