Does anyone know of the best place in Dundee to get a good deal on MOTs?

Hiya,

I've been taking my Mondeo to Arnold Clark in Balfield Road for my servicing / Mot's for the last couple of years with no problems and would highly recommend them as they work swiftly and do the jobs well. Whilst they are not necessarily the cheapest, they do on the other hand offer a courtesy car and / or a lift / pick up / drop off service to get you to a set destination within reason of your choice. All you need to do is ask at the time of booking and they are really obliging to help out here.

Before using Arnold Clark above (bought the mondeo there and had to go there for warrant sake) i used to use McAllan and Patterson run by a guy called Bob on Strathmore Avenue near the motor bike shop. He is brilliant but alas very busy but open late most nights including Saturdays and will most likely be cheaper than Arnold Clark but without the frills. i.e. the lifts / courtesy car.

If you have a copy of the local spree book there is a voucher in it for getting a half price MOT from National tyres, but im not sure about what happens for any work that may need done there. Don't have my spree book to hand at the moment but you can look online here to check it out for the offers - scroll down to the bottom left of the page and enter your post code and it will bring you up the local offers

The book is currently on sale for £15 instead of £20 as it goes out of date at the start of October this year. Worth it - if you need more info pm me as im in Dundee too.
