I moved to London in June to try and get a job in TV, but was willing to do other work as well. I couldn't even get permanent shop/office work.
Until finally I applied for a position working in a cinema (Vue), had an interview that I REALLY prepared for and FINALLY! I have a job!
:T
It's a rubbish wage, but I'm so glad I have a job!
I do have a question though, the hours are varied (between 20 and 40), so if I work less hours than I expect am I still entitled to any benefits? As this will only just cover my rent and bills.
I'm so happy!
I wish everyone else who is job searching good luck and some advice: really put the effort in, get other people's advice on cv/interviews and it will pay off!

WELL DONE!
You are so right, preparation is absolutely crucial. And that includes a good cover letter too.
