The point being it's not a grabbit because there are cheaper places to buy them and they are standard price,it doesn't matter if it's only a penny:)

Also supermarket offers are to be posted in shop and drop;)

LOL...was gonna get the £2 ones for my OH tomorrow....well men like flowers as well.....but dont think i'll bother if they are that bad

I agree they are tiny roses but they are lovely, small and perfectly formed but on quite a long stem. I bought two bunches today and have put them in a vase with some gypsophila; they look really nice and look as if they cost more than they did. I'm more than happy with them, you also get the flower food with each bunch of 12, (they are called sweetheart roses).

Think you are being pedantic, firstly i have neither the time nor inclination to trawl round other supermarkets checking out prices of a doz roses was in Ts and spotted these thought it was a good buy and is a Grabbit as only available for Valentines, and where does it state supermarket offers are to be posted in shop and drop, and if thats the case then i suggest you trawl these threads(like you trawl the supermarkets) rooting out ALL those that are posted in the wrong section.

Whatever, jobsworth. Instead of being so petty, find posts that are REALLY out of place.
It is a grabbit as its short term (valentines day) not shop and drop.

Thanks to OP my hubby lashed out and got me a £5 bunch whilst I was browsing in Tesco this morning, they are absolutely delightful , tight bright red roses , they look great with some greenery from the garden.... he would never of gone into a florist and ordered a dozen.. so thanks Mr. Tesco...

  • My hubby splashed out on some of these too and they are a lovely deep red, nice and tight too. Absolutely delighted. Just wish they had a scent! It seems that the only roses with any scent these days are the ones from my own garden!
