CG Lock - For the drivers out there: £13 off

Hey all, I’m not sure if this post belongs to the Grab it now section (as it expires in April) or the discount code section, but here goes anyway.
I’m part of a few car clubs/forums and have managed to organise a group with the nice guys over at CG-Lock. Luckily they have allowed me to share this deal elsewhere. Since I tried the cglock out at the Top Gear show, I was convinced that they’d be great for anyone who drives a lot. As well as being good for posture (reducing backache from long journeys), many racing and advanced drivers use them as an alternative to a full blown race harness.

For those of you who don’t know what they are, they are a small device that attaches to any 3 point seat belt and allows you to tension the lap section of the seat belt. It effectively pulls you gently into the seat whilst driving aiding in a better driving position and keeping you planted for fast road or performance driving.
The discount I have negotiated is £36.99 delivered which is a saving of £13 over its regular price of £49.99! This is a really good price as I’ve seen them sell for much more second hand on ebay!
The discount code is: planted
Link to buy (with discount code): http://store.cglockonline.co.uk/order/?dc=planted
To find out more, have a look on CG-Lock’s website here: http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/
As they’re already highly regarded in many owners’ clubs and professional driving, I don’t think I could explain any better than some of the testimonies that it’s received.
"Although this product has had lots of good write up’s, both via their website and in the OC, I was a little sceptical until I had tried it myself. The principle of the lock is that it fits to your existing seat belt clip and locks off the lap strap to keep you firmly in your seat. Now those of you that know me know that I ain’t on the small side and once the weight is moving it’s gonna be difficult to stop. CGLock fitted though I was held in place with no movement whatsoever (Colin is here to tell the tale and did not have to be peeled off the door once!!) Where this little beauty came into it’s own was on the handling circuit and alpine route where being routed to the car allow me to really enjoy the cornering, feel what the car was doing and use the steering wheel for what it was designed for - not to hang onto to help stop you from sliding in the seat. It’s only when a piece of kit like this restrains you correctly that you appreciate how much you were moving throughout cornering and heavy braking. If you are teetering on the edge of buying one or are just as sceptical as I was - then do it, you will not regret it. You will be surprised how much this little gem does what it is supposed to do and how much you will benefit from it."

And for some very interesting reading, check out their crash testimonies! :rotfl:

I should also mention that they offer a full money back guarantee and quite boldly state on their website that they have never had a return in 4 years!

Just out of interest, did anyone get one of these to try?
I have been using mine for a week now and I have got to say that the transformation in car control is phenomenal on any sprinted drive.
My backache from long journeys has also practically disappeared as it has corrected my posture and keeps me from slouching.
Thumbs up from me! Would love to hear from you if you have tried one in the past.0 -
