Cosmetics where to buy

Options
Hi all
I have two items that I need to buy every 6 months

Estee Lauder lipstick crystal baby colour 301
and
Estee Lauder Lucidity powder 02 light/medium

I have looked on ebay but they seen dearer than buying from estee lauder.co.uk

Am I missing somewhere obvious I should be buying ?
Moneys tight and I buy any old cheap stuff for the rest of my face but don't want to live without my favourites

Thanks in advance

  • feelunique is a great website for cosmetics - much cheaper than anywhere else on the net including ebay.. i buy from them on a regular basis- st tropez, ysl mascaras and estee lauder skincare...all arrive very quickly
  • Thanks for that but they only sell two Lauder Mascaras
    The rest is all creams

Thinking of going to boots & see if the No 7 Girl can match the colours ?
A bit of down branding ?

You might be better off not looking for the cheapest price, but best value:

In Boots - you may not save much money on the products themselves, but Advantage points in Boots have a great return and there's usually other good bargaind to be had along the way - look here:

The other option is to just keep an eye on 'Bonus Time' offers that most premium beauty brands seem to do. Again, no money saved but you may some nice free goodies.

Apologies if you were really just asking about bargain prices and knew all this already!
  • all advise gratefully received thank you

HI If I was you I'd sign up to this - alerts for forthcoming store/bonus gift promotions. You won't save money but you'll bag some 'freebies' with your planned purchases, as other people have said above:

Sometimes they advertise these offers in the Mail on Sunday magazines (you may be able to order by post). Best of luck.

  • Just looked on Boots.com sadly they sell neither product, again its creams & perfume mostly with a few lip/eye liner pencils
Shame it's a great offer and the £7.50 of points would have been useful

I use both these products too. What I do is only buy them when there is a bonus time gift so that could be Debenhams or Boots or John Lewis. As I don't use any of free gift I put it on ebay and usually make back most of my money spend on the lipstick and powder. Sometimes, not always you need to buy 1 skincare item to get the bonus gift and then I buy a cleanser or a toner or deoderant and these I either use myself or give as a birthday gift for someone. Either way I find it much cheaper to buy when this offer is on. If you get to know the Estee Lauder assistants in your local shops they will usually add in a few extra sample size products when you are there.:D
