I don't know if this is a national or regional offer, but yesterday in Waitrose at Canary Wharf they had signs up offering a free ticket to the baby show at Excel 27th Feb: - 1st March.
You need to spend £30 on baby products throughout the store (easy done!), take receipt to CS desk and they will give you a free show ticket.
Useful if like me you were planning to go anyway and the spend can include nappies, toiletries etc:

I was sent two complimentary tickets that I won't be using. I go on a baby forum. Offered them on there, people said they wanted them, but as soon as I asked them to pm me their address they said they didn't want them!? Don't know how they think they would get there otherwise. People are strange, I was going to send them signed for and wasn't asking for the postage costs, I'd never ask anything for them at all.
The tickets have gone now.0 -
It is possible to be too paranoid isn't it.Some folk are just dumb and ungrateful!!0

The same thing happened to me recently when I offered lots of Boots vouchers.
Had loads of people ask for them, then when I asked for address to send to ......................... nothing!!!
Ended up binning them which was a shame.
I was desperate for a pair of freebies for the Baby show, one is better than none I guess?

Tell me ladies and gents,
What do you go to the show for / to buy/ or look around etc / what type of items etc do you expect to see / buy, do you expect to be able to pay cash or do you like to chip and pin
Reason being is the organiser of the show is asking my company to exhibit there, we feel at the moment that to all be out of the office for 3 days with all the expense of the stand etc that it is too much.
Convince me we should be there.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I just love the show. It brings the products to you IYGWIM.
Its all well and good seeing them in mags and websites and shop windows, but there's nothing like having a poke and feel, see how it goes/ works etc:
I also like the fact that there are plenty of free samples, always a good way to find out if you want to actually buy the products and show prices, which prompt you to buy on the day.
I don't expect to pay cash and always use my CC for purchases.
Last week at the 'Destinations' show, something I wanted to buy was £20 and I only had a couple of £s on me, the guy didn't take CC so almost lost a sale.
He had a website but you really need to catch us on the day.
I guess he knew this so gave it to me with a business card and told me to send a cheque in the post!
In this day and age I could hardly believe it.
As soon as I got home I wrote a cheque and posted it off the next day.
That's what I call a salesman!!!
If I was selling a product I would set up stall at one of the exhibits.
You also get feedback on your products from the people that matter................. potential clients.
You get to see all those cute babies as well.
Grandparents (like myself) go along and spend money and we buy more non essentials than parents ....well I do.
Why are you asking, just go along one day yourself and you'll see what I mean for next year if your unsure for this one.
