Anyone work for the DWP?

Having been made redundant back in August I have finally got a start date for the DWP.
I'm just trying to work out costs ie travel, childcare etc.
Does anyone know whether the DWP allow you to do the salary sacrifice and get the childcare vouchers?
It makes a massive difference as to whether I can afford to take the job or not.
I'll be on a starting salary of £19650, and have to pay £13k a year childcare for 2 children 5 days a week, plus travelling costs.
Any help much appreciated.

Think it depends on which part of DWP you going to be working in, don't think JCP have it yet....believe it or not!0

JCP do have it.
I'm using them !
Have been for ages.
Phone payroll. They will tell you which one they use. Mine is Imagine Co-Operative Childcare. The nursery I use accept these vouchers. They have worked so easily. It costs me £243 a month but I only lose £172 in wages

Also, both parents can claim this 'salary sacrifice' so it may be worth checking if your partner (if you have one) can get this through their employer too.0
