Bad Credit what loans ??

Hi there,

Currently i am having a nightmare getting accepted for a loan, and my credit rating is not that bad. So i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of a good reputation company that offers loans to people with fair credit ratings as i know alot out there are scams ??

Whats a bad credit rating ?

Got an experian report thats says mt score is 776...

Yet i got refused a barclaycard the other week and also refused a AQUA card...

Help anyone ?

776 is quite low, actually. Check you are on the Register of Electors, don't make any more applications for six months and then try again. Credit is very tight at the moment, even for those with scores over 900.

Have you thought about speaking to your local Credit Union? You might find that you have to save for 3 months first but as rules differ it's worth going down to the nearest collection point.

Whats a high credit score then ?

Im on the electoral roll and a house homer with no bad debt...

ive seen credit scores of 276 ...

Well my cousin's OH has the approx the same score as me (986) and he was turned down for a loan. There is a lot more to it than credit score.

unless the credit union has had a cash injection from the govt in the form of a growth fund which often enables them to loan cash to needy customers without the need to have savings.
