Hi.Dont know if this is right place to put this.
Wife wishes to leave where she works. On form to apply for new job it says>Reasons for leaving and seeking alternative employment.
Can hardly put cos it is an awful job and you cant hang on to staff because of the way they treat you.
So Any ideas what she could put would be appreciated

They really only want to know if she's been dismissed or not, so put "anything" e.g. new challenges, new direction, new view out of the office window
OK, not the last one.
She needs to try and find something about the new job that sets it apart from the other job - bigger company? More successful? Better known?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

I agree with debt free chick. To be honest - as long as she isn't putting 'because I was sacked' or 'because my current employers are a bunch of numpties' she'll be fine. You may think 'new challenges' sounds weird if it's a similar job to the one she's already doing, but every employer wants to feel like they're better than the rest so it's a form or flattery they are likely to swallow.
If she is asked to elaborate further in the interview then she can talk about 'feeling that I have done as much as I can within my current role and would like the opportunity to work in a new environment'.
Good luck
