I believe you can but i could be wrong, but if your on jsa then you do need to be able to take a full time job if ones comes available0

@James_013 In other word, you have to keep on looking and seeking jobs. You still have to turn up to interviews and such.0

james also is the part time on a day when you go to the job centre0

well the work is cleaning job at 6 - 8.30 pm and i got to the job centre on a wednesday at 3.50 so theres not confliction there. will i still get the benefit or will it be reduced due to working?0

No changes, you can still get it as long you are working less than 16 hours a week on average.0

i believe you will get jsa at a reduced rate depending n your income but i think once you work over 16 hours a week, you are not entitiled to jsa. try www.direct.gov.uk for more info

The first £5 of your weekly earnings will be disregarded for JSA but after that JSA will be reduced £ for £. However, if you don't earn enough to pay NI by signing on you will be credited with NI.0

You're working less than 16 hours a week and so can still keep claiming JSA and should because a JSA claim will help you out with other things you may be entitled to such as housing benefit.0

As long as your work is under 16 hours, and you carry on signing-on (stating you're looking for full-time work), the government will give you a Class 1 NI credit (as long as your earnings aren't too high).Fokking Fokk!0
