Hi all,
Looking some advice, going to change my car in next few months not sure whether to new or summit low milage. Have been to few car garages and been offered between £3000 and £4700 for trade in. The £4700 price was for trade in off a new car which i probably realistically can't afford. I am driving a 3 door 1.4 Hdi 2005 peugeot 206. Is up for Mot end March not sure whether to get rid now as trade in or Mot and try to sell private. Also considering Wilsons Auctions but not sure if I would get good price or how much they charge. Anybody got any advice
Thanks

If your car is clean and not massive mileage, you will get a better price selling privately. The MOT would help as a lot of people are put off by having to go through the process, it's really down to how you feel about selling it yourself.
Have a look at www.autotrader.co.uk , fill in the blanks and you will see the realistic value. IMO the auction would be a last resort.
HTH
ps If it had been 5 door I might have made you an offer
