Copenhagen is known for being the "City of Cyclists". This is due to its longstanding and lively cycling tradition with a cycle track network of some 300 kms. - and in recent years, its City Bikes. With the City Bike, citizens and visitors alike can take a free ride in the city centre. Put a 20 kr. coin into the lock and when you return the bike to any City Bike rack you will get your money back. Bicycle taxis are also available and are a great way to experience the city centre when travelling short distances.

Here's some more info:
You don't have to buy anything to enter. You can enter between 12am GMTon 02 February 2009 and 12am GMTon 02 May 2009. You can only enter once - we'll make confetti out of any extra entries you submit. Your entry is received at the time Lonely Planet receives it. If your dog eats your entry, it's not Lonely Planet's fault. If your entry gets lost in cyberspace or doesn't arrive for any other reason, that's not Lonely Planet's fault either. Lonely Planet might have to change the dates of the promotion, but only if it's totally unavoidable (and we'll let you know if we do).

The prize consists of:
- A return sea crossing with DFDS Seaways, from Harwich, England to Esbjerg, Denmark, for 2 adults and 2 children, together with carriage of a standard car. The prize includes 2 nights on board the ship in a 4 berth cabin. The winner will be responsible for all expenses associated with travel to the point of departure, and all meals on board the ship. Approximate retail value of the prize is £625.
- A voucher to the value of DKK8,000 (approximately £975) towards the rental of a Novasol cottage. Novasol cottages are located throughout Denmark, and the winner may choose which cottage they wish to stay at (subject to availability at the time of booking). The voucher can only be redeemed in one transaction. The voucher covers the cost of rental of the property only, and the winner will be responsible for payment of the relevant Bond on the cottage they choose. The Bond is a security deposit against damage to the cottage, and utilities charges incurred during the winner's stay will also be deducted from the Bond (and balance will be refunded following the winner's stay). Novasol's standard Terms & Conditions of Rental apply.
Total prize value is approximately £1,600. These prize values are accurate at the start of the promotion, and any change after the promotion begins (including due to exchange rate fluctuations) is beyond our control.Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
