After losing my job i got messed up with my loans. I won a tribunal yesterday and i want to settle them. Ill explaine then ask the question..

Barclay Loan amout is £5000
Current Ballance is £3300

I was just told that ive made 32 payments of £128.09 so thats £4098.88 ive already paid.

Now in theory could i offer £1000 as a settlement? The last payment i made was about 7 months ago.

You could either phone or wrtte a letter.
You could offer a payment of £1,000 in full and final settlement.
Whether they would accept it or not I cannot say.

Thank you it is a FF settlement im looking at. I just spoke to my other loan company Welcome Finance (i know). Borrowed £2000, paid im not sure, but i can only guess at about £800-ish till i get the statement ive requested. They now tell me the ballance is around £3000 and the woman was asking me why i want this info and she didnt sound pleased.
