By Royal Appointment:cool:
Is that what we'll see on the new MSE car sticker?:D
Well done Martin. Did you vist the palace toilets and do they have the 'by Royal Appointment' on the soap?:D
As for the Queen not bothering with moneysaving, I remember a story in the newspapers. Apparently the Queen chastised a young prince (I think it was Edward) for losing the dog lead in the grounds and was told "Go and find it, dog leads cost money"..............or something along those lines.
I know they have the portcullis on the paper napkins in the Palace of Westminster cafe.
Wonders whether Martin has a keepsake of his palace visit.:D10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life. 0 -

Well done Martin! Did anyone mention when the knighthood would be announced?:D
I do know that HM has always made a point of wearing her outfits more than once (which is probably quite money saving in those circles) so I would not be surprised at all to find that she listens in to you on Radio 2;) ."there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0 -

Fascinating. I'd have been completely tongue tied. I'm quite surprised she doesn't use the Internet as I heard she was very fond of her Blackberry.

Wow! Well done Martin. We need a smiley handshake on here so that I could say I shook Martin's hand who shook hands with the Queen.
