Air beds

I need to buy an airbed for going to visit relatives over the Christmas period and wondered if anyone had any recommendations.
It needs to be one with a pump, either battery or mains powered. I am looking for a double as it will be of more use in the future, but may be restricted to a single depending on price.
I have done some research and found the Restform airbed at £39.99 single, £49.95 double (both plus £7 p&p) from tvwarehouse.co.uk.
Does anyone have any experience of these, or any other suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

From experience of sleeping on airbeds at the in-laws, I'd say go for two singles if you can. Sharing an airbed is an interesting experience but not necessarily a restful one! This is particularly true if one of you is heavier than the other. ;D
the other thing is if you are making them up as beds it's a good idea to put a blanket or thickish sheet over the airbed and under the bottom sheet to give some insulation between the sleeper and the cold plastic. brrr. If you're in a decent sleeping bag it's not so bad. Personally I'd go for the sleeping bag any day in preference to trying to make it like a proper bed.
Also if you haven't got a little light you can put at floor level then a decent torch helps the inhabitants get settled more easily...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I tried the Aldi bed for use by a visiting elderly relative, but took it back because it was extremely unstable if the occupant turned over in bed.
The Restform is much more stable as it has an extra inflatable ring around the base, but this does result in the bed occupying more space.
I've found that perspiration is more of a problem than a cold surface, but the same cure should deal with both. I use a mattress topper with elasticated corners under the bottom sheet.0
