How has being BR or going through it changed your life?
Are you much happier?
Do you have any regrets?
I'm wondering whether I seriously need to think about this.
thanks

Well, I went BR in Nov 08. I still don't have any tax credits in payment and my OR still hasn't contacted everyone I owe money to which is a bit of a pain so I'm struggling a bit. Still, I know my tax credits will be paid and I kept my business which is still ticking over nicely. I don't regret it one bit......... I'd go through it all again if I had to just to have the sense of relief BR brings. I would have been struggling to pay everything for years ........ what's the point in that?? I'm much, much happier - I can face things now cos nothing is as bad as going through the BR process and I've done that. I've still got everything that's important..................:)0

Just out of interest Brightonbelle how did you manage to keep your business and what type of business si it? Just still really unsure of what will happen to mine on day of BR?
Heres to a brand new start!!;)
Court date March 6th!:j 1 week after BR and feeling pretty good!:j0 -
Bankrupt yesterday! dont regret it i could never have paid all the debts off, ever i dont think, so yes its a relief, but its not easy. You have to be strong, make sure you get as much information and help as possible before you do it. Not my finest hour or two, very emotional rollercoaster, but glad i can now get off and carry on with my life with no harrassment.:D0

Hi, its an online retail business (fair trade/ethical) - smallfry but it means I can claim tax credits which in turn means I can home educate my son. I explained all that to the OR and cos I'm self employed my stock was part of the tools of my trade along with my little banger so they couldn't be taken and sold to put towards my debts.0
