what % is your overdraft - perhaps you should get that under control thus minimising its cost?

And what is with that broadband/phone amount?!? That's alot!

Oh, and why are you saving? Shouldn't you use that to pay off debt? Or is it an emergency fund or similar?

    Hi James,

What's the gameplan then? Are you keeping the matched betting profit until you've got enough to pay something off in one fell swoop??

And I see you've got zero in for the MNBA card, surely you have to make a minimum payment on the cc? Would it be a good idea to pay off more of the c if you can to reduce the interest that is presumably piling on there? Or is it at 0%, sorry can't remember. 'spect so.

    Anyway well done as ever.

    hiya peeps :hello:

Well Broad band is £25 a month so that total is for 3 months worth not one :rotfl: i would expecting to be on 900MB Broadband for that if it was :D

Mobile is high again due to my inability to stop yaking on the phone  am trying on this i really am :o

Over draft is only how much i went into it so i was only £15.19 into my overdraft last month :)

Me £10 saving a month thingy is basically an emergency fund just incase i need to do anything i.e. to do with car or anything like that :)

Forgot to update me Credit Card minimum payment which is £5 cos its on 0% with MBNA until June.

Matched Betting profit at the moment is for the end of the year cos i ve worked out even with overpaying my loan and then overpaying credit card i will be approx £2300 short by the end of the year so once i have to £2300 i will then be able to pay off the final bit of me debt and enter 2008 totally debt free :)

phew :rotfl: think ive covered all points here but feel free to add any more comments cos its always nice to have more points of view :)

    James :)

Right. Well done on the MNBA 0% till June.

Why are you waiting till the end of the year to overpay the last £2300?? Is it because you might manage to overpay most of that and so could then keep some/most of the MB profit to kick start your savings for a deposit?

Or are you keeping it to pay off MNBA when the 0% ends in June?

I'm sure you've got it sorted, just being nosey!

hiya mate :hello:The £2300 is the amount i will have left to pay of my debt at the end of the year (including me overpaying my debt) so this is why its at the end of the year. The matched betting profit will go to paying this off but the more money i have behind me for matched betting the bigger amounts of free money i will be able to get :)James :)

    James,

Did you miss the "boy" lesson where they tell you that men just DON'T talk on the phone?!?
With this sort of bill you could go for a night down the pub once a week and have a few beers instead of chatting on the phone- madness James, madness!
FYI my phone bill was £8.51 this month, I keep track of how much of my allowance I have left on line. This month I had 5 seconds remaining of inclusive minutes- what a waste!
Is there a better tariff you could change to?
    Saving for an early retirement!

AAhh! I see!! The larger the stake the greater the return. That makes sense. So if you continue to do as well as you have you'll have paid off the extra £2,300 AND have a tidy nest egg. Very smart. Ace.
