Home delivery and 10% discount - Possible?

I have a family relative who works at Argos, thus gets us 10% off in the form of gift vouchers.

If I want to home deliver a item which can't be done in store (For example a sale item) is it possible to get the 10% discount on the order?

So how do I get the 10% discount?

Send them gift vouchers in the post? :D;)

P.S on a related unrelated note don't the company that went bust produce the vouchers for Argos? Scaring me a little as Woolworths have stopped taking vouchers!

    Keycheck Choice?

If so, Argos have stopped taking them aswell.

Wow! Does that include the Argos only branded vouchers?

And what do consumers do now? I expect a lot will have gift vouchers from Xmas!

This is going off topic but there you go :D

Nah, Argos banded vouchers are fine for ever and ever (unlike the new gift cards).

Choice are like a poor version of High Street Vouchers. Basically i think it worked by paying so much a week/month/year etc and getting vouchers back at the end of it, which you can spend in certain stores... Argos being one of those.

Not to familiar with the ins and outs of it all, but all the staff have been told not to accept these for the foreseable future....

well...if it is your relative that works for argos, as per your first post, surely they would send YOU the vouchers?

secondly, if you are ordering something for delivery, you do it in 1 of 3 ways..by phone, or online (payment by any manjor credit/debit card), or in store, where you can use your vouchers

what is it if it CANT be done in store?!

Yes I was trying to make the question read that I want to order ONLINE and get the 10% discount that I would get if I purchased a item in store.

The item is (was?) a sale line and in store the stock checker reads "Sorry, this item is currently out of stock/No longer available". I don't think they have the technology to order ANYTHING for home delivery?

You can order this item, in store, at the till for home delivery via Argos Direct and easily pay with your 10% discounted vouchers that have been given to you. £4.95 delivery charge on top.

    Hope this helps :)
