Free body lotion from The Body Shop (worth £7.80) Telegraph this Saturday February 14

lol after receiving the strawberry one from dbf early this morning we both popped into town and went into body shop to see if they had any left .. could not see any on shelves - so cheekily asked if i could get my free birthday gift worth 5 pounds from my loyalty card- SA said i could choose anything worth 5 pound and pay difference in store - so got two lipblams one in wild cherry and brazil nut one. I mentioned telegraph add to assistant - who was angry that so many non body shop regulars came in early and got it cause it was a freebie. She felt it was unfair that true body shop customers were missing out ...

The SA saw I had the loyalty card (which I got with the 4 pound topcashback) and said she had some saved in the back and she would give me one - so i got a free wild cherry one without the newspaper - BARGAIN!!!

Don't want to sound funny, but surly the idea with a 'freebie' is to attract new customers and get them through the doors ? Think the SA was a bit 'off' to make a comment like that.

Well done though on your goodies. I don't have a body shop near me so missed out on that one!!

Yeah I agree with you I think it a promotion open to all and if they only wanted loyalty card holders then they should have stated it in the T&C . TBH I never really go in The Body Shop. Have brought only a couple of things in the sale online and only got the loyalty card cause I got 4 pound cash back through topcashback and got 5 pounds free birthday gift... I much prefer LUSH ..

Even happier though as I love the Wild Cherry smell and also cause I missed out last time they did the offer and I actually brought the newspaper then LOL :rotfl:

I got a Satsuma one today from my local Body shop, wasn't sure whether the shop would be doing the offer as it's a factory outlet and does reduced gift sets most of the year but they did.

The SA was so lovely, the shop wasn't very busy and she explained all the three different types of body lotion and said I should try them all before buying hehe. Really lovely SA and love my new body lotion.

Got mine today - the body shop assistants were asking me where I got the paper from?? Looked like they wanted one aswell!!
Great £1.60 for a £7.80 RRP Clementine body lotion & a Saturday newspaper.
That' what I call a good good bargain! :-)

I got the paper and went to the Sheffield city centre branch, only to see a big sign on the door saying that they weren't part of the promotion. Boo

i only got one today, thought i picked up the stawberry one, back home and realized its the wild Cherry, Hubby refused to get me the second one, but treat me a nice dinner instead.
