almost 80% off blender at Asda!

Went to Asda last Friday to get the 200w 4.99 hand blender as mentioned on a previous post. Noticed a similar Braun 300w one for 9.99 but nestled between the two was a Rosemary Conley 600w one with 4 blades, a beaker, balloon whisk and chopping bowl attachment for £7.49. It seemed good so I bought it. Got it home and it also had a wall mounted holder in the box.
Looks like its made by Breville as they have an identical product in a different finish.
Anyway, wasn't sure if it was a good deal so checked in the Argos catalogue - they have it for £34.99! Here's a link to it and the similar Breville one:

    :j thanks a million for this post. just whizzed (ha ha) down to asda, they were on the shelf marked at £15.00 but scanned thru the till at £7.50 :j :j

    handed in £1.20 of money off coupons so came out with a new blender for £6.30. ;)

    my old one is held together with electricians tape, (not safe i know :rolleyes:

    after calling 6 asda stores and visiting one in the west midlands i gave up searching for one in stock... oh well, nice post....
