Hi there, my Father wishes to have Freesat HD installed, he is in Cheshire.
Does anyone know the cheapest way to get this done for him?
Many thanks for any help.

Well I appear to have stumped the board...
Does anyone know anywhere else I could ask this question?0 -
The cheapest way is to use a existing sky dish and change the single LNB to a dual LNB or Quad LNB for around a tenner, you will also need extra cable although you can use the Humax as a single tuner
A new dish and quad LNB is around £40 (ebay) plus installation. Installation can be done by a local firm probably around £50 if you have the gear
Argos and John lewis can do this at more cost around £100+
You also need to pay form the box at around £280 which are hard to source0 -
Thanks, so the box at £280 ish is supplied without a dish?0

Yes no dish, its a great piece of kit, twin tuners, watch HD, remote does 3 other av equipment etc
I used my existing dish single lnb and replaced it with a quad for £10, then got a local firm to fit it, it took 20 minutes in all, oh and had to replace cable for twin cable0
