I had a day off today and spent it being very indulgent - haircut, reading my book in Starbucks and a wander round Boots.

I actually spent 1hr20mins wandering round Boots and really had a proper look at things. I posted on the Debt Free Wannabe board that this week my aim was not to spend actual money at Boots this week, but restrict any spending to points. But actually it was nice to just see if I was tempted and decide not.

Not sure if this is of any use to anyone but I did see for the first time some miniatures of the Mark Hill hair products (mostly priced £2.99 as far as I could see but didn't note cheapest possible) which is handier for a 100 point boost than full size at £6.99ish.

Can anyone please tell me if the free brushes with No17 self tanning products are on display therefore meaning I can go to any counter with them?

I tried to get the No17 self tan wipes with free brush 100 points today in Croydon but the SA said that the brush didn't scan as free... what could I do but leave it.

Do you mean the orangy/goldish sachet of wipes? I think that I had the right thing.

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

In my local Boots which is a little one they where on the No17 Display with a couple of items of from the self tanning range.

yes its the individual sachets of wipes which at £1.99 i think is a rip off. but i got one today with the free brush and got 200 points aswell. :T

yes they are on display coz you can buy them seperately too

They had free Avene gift bags in Chester store on Saturday. There were quite a few on the shelf.

the brush scans at 2.99 but when teh wipe is also scanned it says 'link save' and teh cost of the brush is deducted

the machine lets you print out a few of the 17 self tan coupon (i dont think theyve realised the loop hole again!)
