Have mentioned to Liverbird before about starting a little Boots FAQ so that alot of the same questions that keep popping up could be answered.
Who knows.
Another idea....... If Redfox would allow us the first two posts on the next new thread. I am quite happy to continue posting and updating the offers in post one and hopefully forthcoming glitches. Dave could maybe handle post 2 with FAQ's etc ????????0 -
chachiluz wrote:How did you do that? I am after that brush... so it would be very useful... explain please :T :T Do you think it can be repeated?
This was quite a while ago now, but the same toothbrush has been in the points glitches before, so you never know it may crop up again.0 -
freebie_junkie or any other that can help
Help. I seem to remember that on the tony and Guy 2 for 7 offer someone said that it works with certain big bottles I have tried to find it searching the thread but nothing. Can anyone remember?0 -
Liverbird
I suggested Dave because he has more experience that I have, and it would be useful for all new people.0 -
I am pretty sure it is working as there were several posts on it- BUT the terms and conditions say that it isn't, so an sa who is on the ball may try to override it?0

The local Boots had Mediterranean candles 6 in box reduced to 98p.
All other Mediterranean products were BOGOF.
The grumpy SA refused to let me have 2 for 98p ie BOGOF. Said Bogof is not on reduced items. I asked another SA she said the same.
I bought one box for 98p. However found these candles poor quality as the wick burns out before the wax is finished and you are left with half a pot of wax and unable to light it.
A waste of money reduced or not.
But I was annoyed that SA said reduced stuff is not bOGOF when have seen other posters say it is.
Who's right?????????
the till accepts reduced items as bogof so you just have to find a non-crabby SA who is willing to put them thru teh till for you!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
Everybody getting the reduced Soltan packs BOGOF is proof that it works.0

frugalsar wrote:Hi all,
I've not posted for a while as my hubby banned me from boots after he checked our bank statements online and added up I'd spent £105 in boots in one month (obvoiuly had over £500 worth of stuff though!) and I had a tummy bug for past few days but on thurs I went to Trafford Centre and they had FCUK makeup reduced to £1 and Botanics stuff to 50p BOGOF & TS old style eau de whatever for £2.50 - Just took me 1hr 45 mins to read all I missed since last time, wow this thread is supernova now!
Well done for cheering me up (esp. birthing stories) stopped me from being sick cos i didn't want to leave the comp!!!!! (oh ok thta's a bit gross! sorry)
Welcome back to the fold frugalsar. You see what happens if you miss a few days, tons of catching up to do.
I know what you mean about the statements, I make sure mine are WELL hidden from prying eyes.OH keeps telling me it's false economy buying so much stuff but he's not the one who has to sort out birthday and xmas pressies for both our families, just leaves it all to me so I think my quest for Boots bargains is well justified. He who smiles rather than rages is always
