Maybe the offers start in the North and work their way down to the South as I am in the Midlands??

I hope this is not the case as all the loopholes will be fixed by the time they get to us  - might have to move house!!

Anyone in the south or Midlands get the loophole vouchers? or better still know how these AC machines work? I have asked two SA's one told me that it looks at what you buy and then offers you vouchers on these products and the other said that it looks at what you don't buy and offers you vouchers on the products to make you buy them - confused - I am!

    Hi Netty,

I got the EI voucher in Derby, and the TS one in Macclesfield, but have had a card years. It does seem to be the amount you've used it rather than where you live, from what other people have said too.

I think your'e right, I have been reading the thread for a few weeks now and it does seem to be the old boots tarts that have had them - maybe us young boots tarts will have to wait until we are older! ;) :rotfl:

Hi.. First time for me posting in this thread but have a feeling I could become a regular lol Went into both Boots on Oxford Street and one on Tottenham Court Road, London today and managed to get myself 16 packets of Bodyform! for nothing!!! (well happy) :j
Hi sing-le-mum-ov2 - Welcome to the thread!

Can I just say I admire anyone who's prepared to battle thru the London shopping crowds to get their Boots bargains. That's dedication! Although Bham's nearly as bad these days.
Put my card into the ACM's and couldn't get any EI vouchers... I've never had one so am quite gutted that it's dead and buried now! doh ..but I'll be watching out for more loopholes! do they happen often then? :)
Do they happen often? :) Is the Pope Catholic? Do bears... ;)

Thankfully they do happen often. And the nice thing is that even if you totally miss out on one particular offer, you can console yourself with the fact that something else will turn up soon.

Keep checking the thread - particularly Post 1 - and you'll soon see some other bargains. :)

Only if you remember it's in your bag and can get someone to spray you with it!

I took some into hospital during my first pregnancy (a real pregnancy, not a voucher-induced one lol!) along with lots of other 'useful' things that didn't see the light of day until I unpacked my bag one week later when I got home! Having said that, the Entonox stopped me from thinking about anything other than Father Ted (which I had been watching when my contractions started). According to hubby, I kept talking about crack cocaine and laughing hysterically. He had to explain it to the midwife, who had never seen a Father Ted episode in her life - most embarrassing :o

When's the baby due? Is it your first? I wish you a quick, as painless-as-possible labour and a healthy and happy baby :)

I habve to say just catching up and you made me laugh till i cried!!

    You youngsters! :p

I'm not so sure that the AC is intelligent enough to work out what you've bought before and then target specific vouchers to you. In my pre-Tart days I used my card mainly for buying a meal deal each day, but it still offered me nice juicy bargains.

Try different stores and also different machines within the same store. Sometimes the offers can vary wildly if you do.

Try purchasing lots of different products when they show up as bargains - eg the Moroccan hand cream, the Eucalyptus Essentials bodywash. This way you'll spend little, get bargains and it may help to convince the AC that you intend to spend a bit in Boots.

Frustratingly, no-one can really give you a definate answer to this - those AC machines are strange creatures!

  • Soz if I'm repeating but the tixilix medicine is £2.29 with 200 points automatically credited at till.icon7.gif

Would you still get usual points on this of 4p in the £1 making it even cheaper????

Can someone remind me, if something costs £2.29 do you get 8, 9 or 12 points back?

Has anyone seen any Time Delay handcream on the shelves. I have a £5 skincare voucher burning a hole in my purse but I have enough wipes and would really like to get some more handcream

    Thanks :happyhear[/QUOTE]
