Dishwasher Advice

We are looking at getting our first dishwasher, and I am quite clueless about them to be honest.

I presume we would want a full size one rather than a slim one.
Theres me, hubby, and one child, but would want it to last a few years so maybe room for a family of 4, plus pans etc

Also, I notice some of them have child locks on, which would be something to think about as have a very nosey toddler.

Can spend 200-300 ish, would rather have a good known brand, have been let down by Beko, Haier appliances in the past.

Thanks for any advice.

xx

Have a look at the reviews on Reevoo.

Definitely go for the full size one. You will need it, plus slimline ones cost more than full size ones.

I'll second the advice to get a full size. In our household there are only two of us but we used to struggle at times when we had a slimline.

One additional bit of advice - if you are going to use dishwasher tablets then they are a pretty good price if you can find them at around 8p each - if you get lucky and find them for less than 8p it's worth stocking up. The "each" price is usually on the shelf label in the supermarkets.

definatly get a full size one
    dont worry too much about
    a whole array of different
    programes as you will probably
only ever use the same few over
    and over again.

On mine there is an economy
wash cycle that takes 35 mins
    I use that mostly,but use a regular
higher temp longer cycle for any
large loads or badly stained things

Also its great having a dishwasher
when its oven cleaning because anything
that will lift out including wall linnings
shelves brackets the whole lot can be done
in one load wipe out the oven and put
    everything back.
