What for tea?

Don't have much in the house, but need help to work out what to have. We mainly have 9 eggs that we want to use. However, we have no potatoes, so can't even do simple egg & chips.

We also have pasta, rice, milk, veggies, pepperoni, minestrone soup....and some pork (which is in the freezer). There must be something we can do with the eggs?

We're running things down until a big shop next Tuesday. So you could say that we haven't really got much in the house.

Spanish omelette? Veggie risotto? Pepperoni quiche?
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.
  • Special egg fried rice with the pork, eggs, veggies and peporonni? Or a quiche would be good.

  • boo hoo! - you nicked my egg fried rice penny!
the pepperoni would be lovley on a hm pizza base.
You could try cooking rice with the soup instead of so much water and it will flavour it.
Another thing you can do is gently fry uncooked rice in a little oil for a few minutes then add stock and a few bits of pork on top and let the whole thing cook in one pan, its lovely, sort of a middle eastern thing I think.
Yorkshire pudding with a pork casserole.
