Cheap treats for a London bride
Hi all,
Have a friend who's getting married in March (as it's cheaper!) and would like to treat her to some manicure/massages/facials.
She lives in Islington and would be nice to book somewhere near Angel or Upper St or Exmouth Market.
I'd love to buy her treats at a local beauty college but don't want to seem to cheap. I don't live in London so suggestions from any Londoners (especially those in the area) would be great!
Oh, looking to spend about £35 or so, and preferably during a weekend.
Thanks in advance!

If she is getting married in March for cheapness, I'd think she'd appreciate the beauty school thing, as you'd (she'd) get more for your money!DFW stats:

how do you find the phone numbers? been looking at websites but they only have a general line...
sorry, never done this before!0 -
there's another thread that might help - PennyPurple recommended https://www.hotcourses.com to find a college and if you try the general line they shoudl be able to connect you or give you the best number. here's the thread anyway - hope you get something nice for the bride (and yourself!)

to find the numbers you just decide which dept sore you wish to visit and phone them and then ask for the counter you require.
esztee lauder do specialist bridal make-up if her day si gonna be traditional if shes gonna go for summin a bit more contemporary try stila coz all their SA's are professional make-up artists. loom on the selfridges, debenhams, boots and kendals websites to find out whats in teh dept stores near you.

There's also a Virgin gym just round the corner from Angel (at 333 Goswell Road), which has a spa offering treatments at very reasonable prices. They do tend to get booked up quite far in advance though. http://www.virginware.co.uk/Public/virginSpa/menu.aspSnootchie Bootchies!0
